This is an UNOFFICIAL Wendy Crewson fan site.
This site is dedicated to the talented and beautiful Wendy Crewson. Wendy is an amazing
actress and always seems to find interesting characters to portray. Although she has played the wife and/or mother in
numerous movies, she has also been an author, a victim of rape, a lesbian, a scientist, a professor, a software engineer and
far too many others to list here. In my opinion, she plays every role brilliantly!

Wendy Crewson received the Gemini Humanitarian Award in 2002. Her role as Sue Rodriguez in the
film, At the End of the Day: The Sue Rodriguez Story brought her a greater understanding and knowledge of the disease
Amyothropic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), sometimes called Lou Gehrig's disease. This led her into extensive promotion and volunteer
work for the ALS Society of Alberta, a charity about which she is passionate and to which she is devoted. Her work with the
ALS Society began in 1998 when Wendy was asked to star in a series of public service announcements. She graciously agreed
and the spots have been used every year since to promote the Betty's Run, the largest fundraiser for the ALS Society which
she also returns to host each year. During her stay in Calgary she visits with media, visits the homes of people with ALS
to offer support and visits schools to educate youth about ALS.
